Wildwood Kin

Wildwood Kin, a family trio formed in Exeter, borrow heavily from early folk influences, but their extraordinary debut album delves deeply in to other genres, featuring both electric and acoustic instruments. It boasts inventive sonics and spectral atmospherics alongside their sublime 3 part harmonies.

Guitarist Emilie Key, her bouzouki-keyboard playing sister Beth and their drumming cousin Meghann Loney all sing, Swapping leads on original songs, and joining forces on harmonies that have become their trademark, inviting comparisons with the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash and Fleetwood Mac.

From the new album, 2 singles have been released - Run and Taking a Hold - both have featured on Radio 2s playlist and Wildwood Kin have been one of BBC Introducing artists for 2017.

The band have recently toured with Seth Lakeman, performed at Glastonbury, and will be performing at Wooburn Festival following a tour of the USA and before embarking on a UK wide tour to promote their new album - Turning Tides (see photo).
